Stefan Kästle

I am a PhD student at the Systems Group under the supervision of Prof. Timothy Roscoe since June 2011. My research interest are in operating systems with focus on many-core systems. Currently, I am working on the Barrelfish operating system.

I studied at the Karlsruhe Institut of Technology, during which I have been working as reasearch assistent in humanoid robotics and sensor networking. I did my diploma thesis at IBM Research and Development in Böblingen, where I investigated the Performance of the VSAM file system in the z/VSE operating system.
